Building connection
We believe that the journey towards systemic change is mainly based on three connections: to ourselves, to others and to our environment.
To build these connections, we need a sincere, kind and loving space for reflection and action.
Part of the Unlearn Lab journey is developing and holding these spaces as a group, working through our individual and collective resistance to change and supporting each other through our uncertainty. This is an element of transformation work that we rarely see in other business communities, and that we hope will help us to develop and implement radical alternatives to the status quo, that have not emerged before.
Dancing across binaries
Economic system change requires people and companies to work together to create something greater than their sum. We see an urgent need for an increase in the exchange of knowledge between progressive companies and a space for collaboration and cooperation to develop and implement radical ideas that deconstruct binaries like emotional/cognitive, social/ecological, and practice/research.
We have sketched and prototyped our Unlearn Journey, which acts like an iterative feedback loop. This is our first blueprint for system change which we are already putting to the test in our initial labs on compensation and value chain.
